Tai Baribo keeps finding the net. The Israeli forward pulled DC United level with a 77th-minute finish from the left side of the box, capping a second-half fightback that earned his side a 2-2 draw against East Division leaders Nashville SC on Saturday.

DC United had trailed 2-0 before Baribo's intervention, set up by a pass from Louis Munteanu. He played the full 90 minutes and picked up a yellow card along the way. According to ONE, it was his third goal in as many outings since MLS returned from its break for the World Cup.

Baribo, capped 23 times for Israel, arrived at DC United earlier this year in a cash trade from the Philadelphia Union, where he had established himself as an MLS All-Star and a two-time Player of the Month. He came through the Maccabi Petah Tikva academy before moving to Austria's Wolfsberger AC and then MLS.

There was Israeli involvement further up the East table too. At Soldier Field, Idan Toklomati combined with Pep Biel for the opening goal as Charlotte FC took an early lead against Chicago Fire, the two forwards trading passes in an 18th-minute give-and-go that Biel finished into the top corner.

It was not enough. Robert Lewandowski, playing at home for Chicago Fire for the first time, scored twice to complete a 2-1 comeback win and end Charlotte's four-match unbeaten run. Toklomati was withdrawn in the 86th minute, while fellow Israeli international Liel Abada, also in Charlotte's XI, was substituted in the 77th.

Toklomati, 21, is a product of the same Maccabi Petah Tikva pipeline as Baribo. He joined Charlotte in 2024, has four senior caps for Israel, and was named to the MLS Team of the Matchday last September after scoring his first career hat-trick.

Out west, Or Blorian played all 90 minutes at centre-back as Sporting Kansas City fell 2-0 at home to Houston Dynamo, with Adalberto Bouzat scoring the decisive goal in the 71st minute. It was a fourth straight defeat for Blorian's new club since he arrived on a pre-contract in June.

Blorian joined Sporting KC after leading Hapoel Be'er Sheva to an Israeli Premier League and Super Cup double last season, and has since been called into the Israel national team setup.

Between them, the trio's weekend summed up the growing Israeli presence across MLS this season — a goal, an assist and a full 90 minutes at the back, spread across three different time zones on the same Saturday night.
