Israel’s basketball federation brought forward its review of the July window after a significant number of players were unavailable through injuries and personal circumstances.
The meeting was expected to include federation leadership, national-team staff, the professional committee and insurance representation. A later conversation with captain Tomer Ginat was also planned, according to the report.
Israel’s next games were listed against Poland and Latvia. Availability and continuity will be as important as tactics if the team is to keep its qualification prospects alive.
