Beitar Jerusalem travel to face Hapoel Ramat Gan Givatayim on Monday evening in a Toto Cup playoff for seventh and eighth place, a ranking fixture that still carries prize money for the winning club even though neither side is fighting for a trophy.

ONE reports that Beitar's attack is expected to be built around Omer Atzili, who has been the club's most productive player this season with six league goals in ten appearances, and Eugene Ansah, the Ghanaian forward signed this month from FC Ashdod.

Ansah's move became possible after Ashdod's relegation to the National League triggered a release clause in his contract; he has signed with Beitar until 2028 on reported wages of roughly €280,000 a season. He scored nine goals and added seven assists for Ashdod last season and, once he receives Israeli citizenship as expected, will not count against Beitar's foreign-player quota.

Beitar arrive at the game only days removed from European elimination, having gone out of continental qualifying to Austria Vienna on penalties. Coach Yossi Abukasis is expected to use the Ramat Gan fixture to rotate his squad and hand minutes to players who saw little action in Europe, with Yordan Cohen among those set for a further rest.

On the other side, Hapoel Ramat Gan Givatayim are set to start Maxim Plakushchenko, the forward who joined the club as a free agent over the summer after coming through Hapoel Haifa's youth system. He and Luan Campos are expected to lead the home side's attack.

Kick-off is scheduled for 20:00 at a stadium in Rehovot, with the winner taking home the placement prize money on offer in this season's Toto Cup.
