Bnei Yehuda have gone shopping in Moldova, confirming the signing of Brazilian winger Zé Flores from league champions Sheriff Tiraspol, ONE reported on Saturday.
The 27-year-old, born in Rio de Janeiro, has put pen to paper on a one-year contract that carries club options for two further seasons, according to the report. His move was brokered by agents Tamir Azizov and Kfir M. of the A.G Pro Agency.
Flores arrives with a solid pedigree in Moldova. ONE reports he spent two seasons at Sheriff Tiraspol after earlier spells in Italy and Lithuania, establishing himself as a regular attacking threat on the flank for the Tiraspol club.
Last season was his best yet: 11 goals from the wing as Sheriff won the Moldovan Cup. He had already featured for the club four times in the fledgling 2026/27 campaign — two Europa League qualifying ties and two league fixtures — before the move to Israel was finalised.
He now joins a Bnei Yehuda side rebuilding in Liga Leumit, Israel's second tier, where the Tel Aviv club reached the upper playoff bracket last season and will hope fresh attacking options can fire a push back toward the top flight.
"I'm very excited to join Bnei Yehuda," Flores said, according to ONE. "From the first moment I felt the club's strong desire to bring me and their trust in me... I'm already waiting to wear the orange shirt." He cited the club's history and passionate fanbase as factors in choosing the move.
