Ironi Nes Ziona has confirmed that Bryce Brown, the American guard who topped the Israeli Basketball Premier League's scoring charts in his debut season, will be back for a third year with the club in 2026/27.
"Happy to continue at Nes Ziona for a third year, at a club that feels like home to me," Brown said in the club's announcement. "We're looking ahead, and we'll do everything to provide our fans with good basketball and happy moments."
Brown arrived in Nes Ziona in the summer of 2024 after a stint with JL Bourg in the French league, and the move paid off immediately: he finished the 2024/25 season as the Premier League's leading scorer, averaging close to 19.5 points a game.
Last season was more complicated. Brown spent part of the campaign in Germany with Ratiopharm Ulm of the Bundesliga before returning to Nes Ziona, where he closed out the year averaging 16.1 points, 3.1 assists and 1.1 steals per game.
The club is retaining him as one of two import players carried over into next season, alongside forward Jackson Rowe, as it looks to build continuity around a roster that is otherwise seeing turnover heading into 2026/27.
Nes Ziona, an established mid-tier force in Israeli basketball, won the FIBA Europe Cup in 2021 and plays its home games at the compact Lev HaMoshava arena. Club officials framed the Brown re-signing as a statement of intent for the coming season, betting that stability around their top scorer will translate into results once the new campaign tips off.
