A.S. Ramat HaSharon has added young guard-forward Alon Danieli on loan for the coming National League season, one of a string of squad-building moves confirmed by ONE on Tuesday as Israel's second tier begins to take shape ahead of pre-season.
Danieli's parent club is Ironi Nes Ziona, where the 19-year-old signed a three-year contract as a graduate of the club's youth system. He spent last season out on loan at Ashdod and now switches to Ramat HaSharon for the 2026-27 campaign, again away from his home club.
The forward has already worn the national colours at multiple age groups. He played for Israel's U-19 side at last year's World Championship, and started every match for Israel's reserve squad at this summer's European Championship, underlining the growing reputation that made him a three-year signing at Nes Ziona in the first place.
Elsewhere in the same round of transfer news, Elitzur Shomron have brought in an American frontcourt player, forward-center McKay Mitchell, according to ONE.
Mitchell, who is from Washington D.C. and stands 206cm, arrives with a well-travelled NCAA Division I résumé, having played for Maryland, Rhode Island and Arkansas. He reached the Sweet 16 with the Razorbacks in 2023 and averaged 7.7 points and 5.4 rebounds per game across his college career, before most recently playing professionally in Mexico.
The Brukhin-based club, runners-up in the 2023 Israeli Basketball National League Cup, are looking to add size and rebounding to their frontline for the new season.
ONE's report also touched on other National League movement, including guard Austin Tilman and center Omer Sade closing in on moves to Elitzur Ashkelon, and forward Oz Levy signing with Elitzur Netanya after averaging 10.7 points and 3.6 rebounds for Ashkelon last season — part of a broader reshuffle across the division's rosters this summer.
