Israel's under-18 basketball team walked into the knockout round of the FIBA U18 EuroBasket with a perfect record, and on Wednesday morning in Italy they took the court against Denmark for a place in the quarter-finals.

The tournament, hosted in Trento and Rovereto from 25 July to 2 August, saw Israel finish the group phase unbeaten in three, a run built on strong performances from guard Ariv Aronov and forward David Mossis, both of whom have stood out through the competition.

Denmark advanced from Group B and arrived as a knockout-round opponent Israel had not yet faced in this tournament.

This report is being held: at the time of writing, the match had only just begun, with the sides level and just minutes on the clock. Israel Sports Pulse does not publish match reports until a final, full-time score can be confirmed.

A full report will follow once the game in Trento is complete and the result is verified.
