Elche's interest in Roy Revivo has "cooled considerably," according to ONE, with the Spanish club stepping back from a chase for the Maccabi Tel Aviv left-back after the two sides failed to close a persistent gap over his valuation.
The newly promoted La Liga side had an offer of around €2 million turned down by Maccabi, who are holding out for a fee closer to their own valuation of the 23-year-old. Other Israeli outlets have reported similar numbers in recent days, with Ynet putting Elche's opening bid at roughly €1.7 million against a Maccabi asking price nearly double that, underlining just how far apart the two clubs remain.
Revivo is contracted to Maccabi Tel Aviv until June 2027 and is valued at around €4.5 million by Transfermarkt. The left-back, 1.85 metres tall and comfortable providing width from the back, had a productive 2025/26 season by his own attacking output, recording 15 assists in 52 appearances for the league champions.
He is the son of Haim Revivo, one of the most celebrated Israeli footballers of his generation, and has already made his own mark in the national set-up - he represented Israel at the 2024 Paris Olympics and was named the Israeli top flight's Defender of the Season for 2023/24.
Elche, under new coach Martín Anselmi following Eder Sarabia's departure after last season's survival battle, had identified the left flank as an area to strengthen this summer. According to ONE, the club may yet return with a fresh offer before the market closes, but for now other suitors have entered the conversation - with clubs from Italy and Portugal said to be presenting terms that better suit both Maccabi and the player.
The Spanish transfer window shuts on September 2, giving all parties roughly three weeks to either bridge the gap or move on to alternatives. For now, ONE's report suggests neither side is in a rush to blink first.
Maccabi have shown little appetite to let a key contributor leave on the cheap just months after winning the league, and Revivo's camp will be watching closely to see whether Elche - or one of the newer names circling - is prepared to meet a figure the champions consider fair.
